Tippy is a tri-colored beauty! She is estimated to be about 4 years old and weighs 38 pounds.
Meet Tippy, a sweet and gentle soul seeking a new beginning. With a soft and submissive nature, Tippy is looking for a leader to guide her and a family to call her own. She only wants to stay close to you, looking to you for safety and direction. Tippy is very underconfident, she can cower and retreat when she is unsure, so a patient and understanding adopter who can help build her confidence is key. If you have a basket of toys for her, she would just love that, she really perks up when those are brought out! If you're the leader Tippy is looking for to help her truly shine, she would love it if you wanted to meet. She will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old with her insecure nature.
Tippy has a soft, loose, submissive approach with other dogs and really comes out of her shell. She gains confidence when she is around them and her fear seems to subside when they are there. Tippy just loves other dogs so much and she MUST go to a home with another friendly dog, to help her grow and build confidence.
If you are interested in Tippy and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
