Someone loves to be in your lap! Sven is estimated to be about 4 months old and weighs 33 pounds, but he is sure to get bigger.
Meet Sven, just look at that handsome face, he is one of the nicest puppies you could ever hope to meet! Sven is a bit on the shy side though and can be a little unsure of himself, but with your love and guidance, he will blossom into the confident and amazing dog he was always meant to be. He is a fast learner, he already knows sit and just wants to please his people, so with the right training and socialization, he will thrive. One of Sven's favorite things is simply being close to you. He craves affection and will happily accept all the belly rubs and cuddles you can give. And when it comes to treats, this well-mannered boy is as gentle as can be. He is getting used to toys here at the rescue, he wanted to play with the Kong Wubba, he just wasn't quite sure what to do with it. Sven came to the rescue with his 2 sisters Anna and Lucy from some poor living conditions, so they probably never had a toy before. Sven is a gorgeous boy, both inside and out, and he has so much love to give. He just needs that special someone to give him a chance, who has the time and patience to build trust and his confidence. This little guy is a true sweetheart, and he would love it if you came to meet him, gosh, he can't wait for a family to love. Sven will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old with his shy nature.
If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Sven would love to meet them. He has a friendly approach with other dogs and does cute play bows.
If you are interested in Sven and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
