Four words to describe Bill would be happy, curious, goofy and friendly! Actually, five are in order, adorable! He is estimated to be about 10 years old and weighs 8 pounds.

This little guy is an active, social senior Chihuahua. He is looking for a forever home with a person or family who can be with him most of the time as he gets quite anxious when no one is home with him. He loves other small dogs and wants to meet every dog or cat that he sees. He can come on a bit strong with a lot of sniffing when he meets a new small dog, but it will subside if the other dog has patience with him.

He bonds quickly and strongly with his person and wants to be in the same room with his person at all times. But he doesn't require constant attention and is happy to lay on his dog bed in whatever room you are in, at least until it is time for a walk. He has a very strong sense of adventure and doesn't have much of a fear instinct, so his forever family will need to keep a close on eye on him especially outside. When he is outside to go potty, he is apt to just start walking and not stop. His forever family will also have to keep a close eye on him around new dogs or cats because he will happily and quickly go right up to them without an ounce of fear or concern.

He recently had the last of his teeth removed as they were in bad shape and causing him discomfort, so his forever family will need to only feed him soft food. He gets very excited for his food though, so there definitely hasn't been any impact on his appetite.

Bill is a sweet, curious, goofy, happy boy who can't wait to meet his new family! He will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old. He would love it if you wanted to meet him, he still has so much more love to give.

If you are interested in Bill and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
