From tip of her white tail to her cute white paws, Cheerio a treasure! She is estimated to be about 8 months old and weighs 30 pounds right now.
Meet Cheerio, a gorgeous brindle puppy who's so excited to find her forever family. This sweet girl is all about closeness and her favorite spot is snuggling up in your lap (she thinks she is tiny)! Cheerio craves love and likes to be near you, making her the perfect companion for those cozy evenings at home. She already knows a solid "sit" and has a soft mouth relinquish with her toys with a firm "drop it" command, proving she's eager to learn and please. She loves playing fetch with a tennis ball and is so happy when she has a stuffed toy! Maybe she can have a basket of them in her new home, a girl can dream! Cheerio can still be a little puppy mouthy at times, and needs some manners work, but she's very responsive to redirection and verbal correction, showing she's highly trainable. She really looks to you for guidance and direction, she has so much potential, "a diamond in the ruff", just looking for structure and a leader. She will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old. Cheerio would like it if you came to meet her, she would love to grow up with her forever family and be loved.
If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Cheerio would love to meet them. She does like a quieter type of dog and has a soft, friendly approach with them, then does cute play bows. She prefers not to have an "all in" type of play friend.
If you are interested in Cheerio and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
