Who is that cutie peeking at you through the gate with those teefers! Essie is estimated to be about 4 years old and weighs 13 pounds.

Poor sweet Essie, she came to us very matted and quite scared, as you can see from some of her before pictures, she was a mess, but she looks fabulous now! Not only does she feel better, Essie is also just blossoming and showing us the true, loving girl she really is! Every day she is getting a little braver and is opening up more and we are very proud of her. One of Essie's favorite things is if you sit on the floor, she likes to snuggle on your lap and loves to give kisses. Essie is still afraid of fast movements, so you really have to move slow with her, that is very important. She is starting to get used to a leash and really seems to be enjoying her walks now. She will need a patient adopter who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and help build her confidence. Essie will need a quiet, more predictable type home. She would love it if you came to meet her, she can't wait for a family to love and who will care for her like she deserves.
