Lilah is for sure such a unique beauty, her coloring is gorgeous! She is estimated to about 6 months old and weighs 34 pounds right now, but she is sure to get bigger.

Meet Lilah, she is a precious puppy who, with a little patience and love, will blossom into the most incredible best friend. While she is naturally social and outgoing, she has experienced traumas that have made her cower and retreat when something scares her. She wants so much to trust and connect, gently leaning in to be close and taking treats with a soft, gentle nature. We suspect she may have been mistreated in the past, as she flinches at sudden hand movements and doesn't like loud noises. We are super sad someone cropped her ears, but that life is behind her now. It will take a special person to earn her confidence and show her that she is safe now. Lilah needs a family who will commit to building her confidence, teaching her basic obedience, and helping her feel secure. She is an active puppy who needs an outlet for her youthful energy, and she will thrive with a family who can provide structure and a consistent routine. Lilah will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old. She would love it if you came to meet her, she would really like to grow up with her forever family.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Lilah would love to meet them. She has a friendly loose approach with other dogs that moves into an "all in" play.

If you are interested in Lilah and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
