Who can resist that face! Dolen is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 48 pounds.

Get ready to fall in love with Dolen, a young, fun-spirited cutie who's looking for his forever home! This adorable boy is so connecting and has a soft, lovable demeanor that will instantly make you smile. Dolen loves to be close, always leaning in for a good cuddle and as you can see in one of his pictures, has his paw on one of our volunteer's feet while sitting, we love it when dogs do that! He's vocal when he wants your attention, but in the cutest, most endearing way possible. You can tell Dolen really wants to please you, looking at you to make sure he is being good. He also just happily bounces around, ready for whatever is next. Toys? Not so much his thing right now, he actually walks around them to sit close to you, he just wants to love and be loved. Dolen will need a home where any children are at least 4 years old. He would like it if you came to meet him, he can't wait for a family to love.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Dolen would love to meet them. He does have a hesitant approach with other dogs and looks to you for comfort and guidance. He seemed a bit overwhelmed and retreated, but he may just need more time to settle here at the rescue and realize he is safe now.
